Here’s a couple of requests for help from Joomla. If you want to find a great way to give back to the Joomla project, these are good opportunities.
Join or Start a Production Working Group
The Production Leadership Team (PLT) would like for you to join them in helping out with building Joomla 3.x. The Production Working Groups will help build documentation, translations, usability and sample data, security, and more into Joomla 3.x. You can also propose your own group if there’s something you’d like to work on for Joomla 3.x.
The VEL team is looking for new members
The Vulnerable Extensions List (VEL) team identifies various extensions listed in the Joomla Extensions Directory which might cause security issues. You do not need to be a programmer to participate.
In the Joomla Forums, you can see a current list of tasks that need to be accomplished, as well as desired skillsets for other jobs.
Translation Help with Open Translators
The latest exciting project happening out of the Joomla community is the Open Translators project. Joomla members from around the world are translating extensions, articles, and more into other languages. Speak only English? There’s still work to be done with this project.
