Google Docs and Spreadsheets offer an easy way to embed them in a webpage using an iFrame. You just copy and past the text into your site, whatever it’s built with, and voila.
Trouble is they look like crap.
There is a better way though, depending on what CMS you are using.
The solution is to using a plugin to embed the Google Docs (in my case a spreadsheet) without using an iFrame.
I used Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer, Version 0.3.2, by “Mr. Meitar Moscovitz.
Once installed, you insert WordPress shortcode like this:
[gdoc key="0Auv4S5mfstuwdDhiU2hzTTE2c3VZUW5TVnVGckNXOWc" gid="1" header_rows="1"]
The result is a lean HTML table that you can style with CSS if you like.
