In my day job at the Upper Valley Educators Institute, we use Highrise to manage contact data. One thing I have found continually frustrating with this great CRM however, is it’s woeful lack of a contact update feature.
There are several other web apps we use alongside Highrise, including Mailchimp and Wufoo. I suspect that many many companies use these big three.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have Mailchimp UPDATE the Highrise record when someone changes their contact information?
You can’t.
How about bulk UPDATE Highrise contacts with a CSV import.
You can’t.
Use Wufoo or Google forms that reference an existing contact? Want to UPDATE it?
You can’t.
I know “just say no” is part of the 37 Signals DNA, but really guys? C’mon!
