Interview about Joomla at Alledia

January 15, 2007 By barrie@compassdesigns.net Leave a Comment

“My background is pretty mixed. I started out as a rocket scientist……. After
starting to glow in the dark a bit I took a sideways step and taught High School math and science for a good five years in the US.”

“OK, so here is the thing with “SEO”… its dead. What I mean here is
that SEO used to be about stuffing some keywords onto your site and
buying links and trying to game Google. It won’t work anymore.”

Head over to www.alledia.com and check it out.

I noticed that my good buddy Cory was there last week! If you didn’t know Cory has a site Joomlaform where he promotes standards based design. If you are looking for great examples of modern Joomla design, you should bookmark that site.

The Skinny

I am an entrepreneur, web consultant, author and educator.

I have been involved in starting a K-12 School District, a Private High School, and three web tech companies. I also wrote one of the original and best selling books on Joomla.

And I like sailing with kids.
