- the price
- the number of domains you can use a template on
- the time you get access to updates for bug fixes, browser and Joomla updates etc

The results were interesting. I think there is a common perception that "template clubs" are an affordable way to get lots of templates, but in reality, the restrictions on domains and updates makes them quite limiting.
